“I’m doing fine. I don’t need coaching.”
That’s what most of my clients tell me they thought before they book a discovery call.
They’re right, by the way. They are doing fine.
Many in senior roles. They’ve built careers, relationships, lives that work.
Until suddenly, they don’t.
Not catastrophically. Just… all of a sudden harder than it used to be.
All the rhythms, the workaround and the strategies that got them here aren’t keeping them here. And they can’t quite figure out why.
THE MISCONCEPTION
Here’s what people get wrong about ADHD coaching:
They think it’s for people who are “really struggling.”
People who can’t hold down a job. People whose lives are falling apart. People in crisis.
It’s not.
ADHD coaching is for people looking to get a better understanding of who they are. And why their brain works the way it does.
Imagine you’ve been making your ADHD work for you your entire career: instinctively, through trial and error, brute forcing your executive functions to do your bidding.
But now:
- The all-nighters don’t bounce back like they used to (the fun kind and the work kind)
- The people management that comes with seniority feels impossible
- The systems everyone swears by just… don’t work for your brain
- You’re wondering if you’re losing your edge
You’re not losing anything.
You’ve just been running on the wrong operating system, and it’s finally catching up with you.
WHAT THEY’RE ACTUALLY HOPING FOR
When someone books that first discovery call, they’re not looking for productivity hacks or accountability check-ins.
They’re looking for permission.
Permission to stop battling themselves.
Permission to build systems that don’t feel like cages.
Permission to admit that “just focus harder” has never worked and never will.
Most of all: permission to stop pretending their brain works the same way everyone else’s does.
WHAT ACTUALLY HAPPENS
The discovery call is straightforward: we talk about where you are, what’s not working, and whether coaching might help.
No sales pitch. Just an honest conversation. I’ll tell you about my approach to coaching, why and how it differs from therapy or mentoring, and what you can expect from the process.
If we both think it’s a fit, we start with a proper first session.
And here’s what surprises people:
The relief.
Not relief that they’ve found “the answer” or that everything will magically get easier.
Relief that someone finally gets it.
That their struggles aren’t because they’re lazy, undisciplined, or broken.
That their brain genuinely works differently and that’s not a problem to fix, it’s a manual to learn.
THE WORK ITSELF
ADHD coaching isn’t therapy. We’re not unpacking childhood trauma or working through deep emotional wounds.
It’s also not just accountability. I’m not here to remind you to do things or check if you’ve completed your to-do list.
What we do is this:
Understand how your ADHD brain actually works.
Why you can hyperfocus for 6 hours on the right project but can’t answer a simple email.
Why urgency and crisis make you productive (and what that costs you).
Why traditional productivity systems feel suffocating.
Reframe what you think are failures.
“I can’t stick to anything” becomes “I’m wired for interest, not importance, so how do I make processes interesting?”
“I’m terrible at time management” becomes “My brain doesn’t perceive time the same way, so what external structures can help?”
Build systems that work WITH your neurology, not against it.
Not generic advice. Not what works for neurotypical brains.
Systems tailored to how your brain operates.
THE STRUCTURE
I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all packages.
Some clients need weekly sessions during intense periods. New role, major project, life transition.
Others benefit from fortnightly check-ins as they build new habits.
Some just need monthly strategic conversations to stay on track.
We work out what you need, and we adjust as you go.
WHO THIS IS FOR
ADHD coaching works best for people who:
- Are high-performers hitting unexpected walls
- Have been recently diagnosed
- Have been diagnosed for some time, but are looking to gain some lasting insights
- Want to understand their brain, not just “fix” themselves
If you’re in crisis, you need clinical support first. Coaching works alongside that, not instead of it.
If you’re looking for someone to tell you what to do, this isn’t it. I help you figure out what works for your brain.
MY FAVOURITE MOMENTS
The best part of this work isn’t the big breakthroughs (though those are great).
It’s when a client applies a simple reframe… and it just clicks.
When they text me: “Holy shit, I tried thinking about X that way and it actually worked.”
When they stop apologising for how their brain operates and start designing around it instead.
That’s when I know the work is landing.
